In 2024, the "Foundations of Children’s and Youth ministry” Online unit is being offered as a series of regular zoom sessions (approx. 13). The unit will run across semesters 1 & 2 beginning fortnightly on Tuesday February 20, 2024, from 5:00-6:30pm (AEST) with breaks coordinated for NSW school holidays.
This will provide the opportunity for face-to-face discussion with Children’s and Youth ministry peers, real-time interaction, and tailored input from the Youthworks Ministry Advisors.
The unit DE037-512D/612D is fully accredited by the Australian College of Theology at diploma level.
Children’s and Youth ministers can participate in the unit in 3 ways:
Audit student: Full participation, no assessments = AUD$800 [SIGN-UP HERE]
This would suit lay-leaders who are low on time
Audit & assessment student: Full participation and assessments = AUD$1200 [SIGN-UP HERE]
This would suit lay-leaders who have more ministry responsibility, and time to invest in thinking through Children’s and Youth ministry issues.
Accredited Study: Full participation, assessments, and credit towards Diploma, Adv. Diploma, or Associate Degree = AUD$2600 [SIGN-UP HERE]
This would suit P/T Children’s and Youth ministers who want to gain a qualification in ministry and theology.
