Student Advocacy:
The student advocacy service attempts to bridge any existing power differential between staff and students in our college community by providing support to a student from a person who is knowledgeable of College policies and processes but not on staff or faculty.
Any student can get support from the College student representatives in matters related to and including:
o Understanding ACT/College policies (e.g. the grievance policy, academic misconduct, the student code of conduct etc.)
o Making an appeal or lodging a grievance (e.g. help with understanding avenues of appeal, needing a person of support in attendance for a meeting with the Academic Dean or Principal about a matter etc.) want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
