Introducing Emma Collett to the Team
Welcome Emma Collett, as the new Dean of Education.
With decades of experience, Emma will be using the gifts and passions she has for higher education, to help train and develop teachers and leaders specifically within the Centre of Christian Education at Youthworks College
A pleasing balance
There has been a four-year degree, lots of placements and more than three-years teaching experience, but Jessie McMaster is not yet finished with study.
A proactive step
When Hamish Gray finished high school, he wasn’t 100% sure what he wanted to do but hoped to continue to learn and be challenged. This is precisely what happened when he enrolled in Youthworks’ Centre for Christian Education (CCE) diploma, a practical one-year course which combines theology and teaching.
Lessons from Christian Endeavour, A Training School for the Church.
Today, Christian Endeavour has faded from memory and few young people have heard of it. But are there lessons that we can learn from this remarkable youth organisation?
Certificate in a Box: A Program to Teach the Bible in Your School
Schools and churches often find themselves searching for a missing piece, a comprehensive educational resource that bridges the gap between faith and learning. That missing piece is 'Certificate in a Box'.
Where Are They Now?

Where Are They Now?

Where Are They Now?
When Nathan was 21 and a new Christian, he became involved in the youth ministry at his church. Now, he is the assistant chaplain at Trinity Grammar School, a boy’s school in Sydney’s inner west. In his spare time, he still loves skating!
Centre for Christian Education
Youthworks College Dean of Women interviews Principal Mike Dicker.
The Centre for Christian Education (CCE) is a way for Youthworks College to dedicate some of our resources to raising up more Christian teachers and helping Christian teachers to become better at applying the gospel into their school classrooms and their teaching contexts.
Where Are They Now?
A key lesson that Matt has learnt over the years has been to invest in training student leaders. Matt ran the Cru group in the junior school of around 20 kids, “When we had student leaders run the group instead of us, they prepared so thoroughly, they did the Bible talk, even at the young age of 12! We realised we needed to invest more, pray with the leaders, and train them.” Because of the student leaders, this group grew to around 50-60 kids.
